Fed up trying to find cables behind wall brackets?
When cables are hidden behind plaster board that is not marked or the wires are not pulled through, here is a technique from Mike Robins that should make finding them easy.
Run a strong magnet over the plaster board until the magnetic field gets stronger and the magnet sticks to the plaster board. (If the wall is painted, put the magnet in a clean cloth to prevent marking the wall). You can then run the magnet around the edges of the wall bracket to locate the centre and cut your hole to locate the wires.
